A statue of the King of Pop has been erected…in England.
Well known Premier League team Fulham has unveiled outside its stadium the statue of the late legendary pop star prior to its match with Blackpool at the Craven Cottage on Sunday.
The main reason for the statue to be unveiled there was to commemorate Michael Jackson’s friendship with the club’s chairman, Mohamed Al Fayed, who danced with children in front of the statue on Sunday.
Al Fayed says “people will queue to come and visit it from all over Britain and it is something that I and everybody else should be proud of.”
The statue had been slated to be erected outside Harrods department store but those plans were shelved when Al Fayed sold the business last year.
Michael Jackson had once attended a Fulham match back in 1999, and his memory will continue to live on through this amazingly created statue.
